I have largely specialised in regional publishing, sourcing, developing, writing and editing news stories, articles and profile interview for a range of business, property and lifestyle titles – both on and offline.
In 2015, I was asked to help establish a new company to relaunch a long-standing business publication in the North East of England, which was first published in 1981.
I joined the core team as Editor and the all-new North East launched in October 2015. Is has gone on to become the leading regional business title in the region.
The company has grown to become a multi-platform publisher incorporating digital, film and events.
I joined We Are UMi as a Senior Editor, where I managed the on and offline content for the national, award-winning business consultancy and investment centre.
In October 2022, I launched my own freelance business, Lovely Blue, offering a copywriting, journalism and editing services.
I have since contributed articles for new digital platform Pattern and became the Freelance Editor of BW Magazine - North East.
In June 2023, I began a part-time position at St Oswald's Hospice as a Communications and Marketing Officer.
